The City of Tarpon Springs is updating its Comprehensive Plan to comply with Charter and Florida Statutes requirements, including consolidation of Future Land Use Categories and alignment with Countywide Planning Authority standards. The 2023 update incorporates revised population and employment projections, updated maps, and new sustainability and resilience policies. Developers should note that sufficient land and infrastructure capacity exist to accommodate projected growth through 2040 without density increases.
